S. Mukherjee delivered Lecture at Continuing Professional Development - IIQS-Qatar

Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors - Qatar Chapter (IIQS-Qatar), associated to Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) under the aegis of the embassy of India in Qatar, recently conducted its second Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at Lulua Hall of Radisson Blu Hotel. The event was attended by over 50 members and guests.
Subrato Mukherjee, Executive Manager at Qatar Design Consortium, delivered lectures on various topics, including Modular Construction - application, advantages and limitations and Quality Based Selection (QBS) for Value Engineering. The first lecture comprehensively covered various aspects of Modular Construction techniques being implemented in the construction industry all over the world. quality, time and cost which are the key objectives of a construction project. The second lecture provided insights on the Quality Based Selection for Value Engineering principles, with practical examples on how this technique can help in making informed decisions by using Quality Based Selection.
