Rerouting of existing fire water test line and provision of additional supports as needed based on the proposed modification and stress analysis to arrest
vibration.
• Hydraulic & Surge Analysis will be performed to resolve the presence of surge pressure in the fire water test line & to ensure the minimum pressure
drop within the test line.
• Installation of Anti cavitation type Pressure regulating valve to automatically relieve the excess pressure and to maintain constant system pressure at fire water pump test line.
• Installation of Restriction orifice to provide discrete pressure drop in order to minimize aquatics resonances and create suitable back pressure on the Pressure Regulating valve to prevent cavitation damage.
