Qatar Foundation intended to develop Qatar Academy at Al Wakra, for which M/s. BDP was employed by QF to provide the design services, however, the project scope and design was subject to signicant re-appraisal and Value Engineering initiatives by Qatar Foundation. The project was re-tendered and awarded to M/s HBK Contracting as a Design Build Contract. QDC services included Value Engineering and Redesign works from Schematic to Detailed/ IFC design stage to comply with budget constraints. QDC have also provided Transportation services for Traffic Impact Assessment and related studies
