PROJECT DETAILS

EPIC OF 2"" High Pressure Flare Pilot Line at Station A4, Ras Laffan

To Construct   a   pressure    reducing    station    (PRS)    skid,    which    will    reduce    the high  pressure  gas  of  72  bar  gauge  to 1.4  bar  gauge  (at  40 degrees  C).  Pressure reduction is to be done in three stages - 72 bar gauge to 25 bar gauge and then 25 bar gauge to 6.89 bar gauge for fine tuning from 6.89 bar gauge to 1.4 bar gauge.
Laying the flare pilot gas line up to Station A4 fence, near the A4 station’s boundary with the BGP.
Installing  nitrogen  purging  connection  in  the  flare  header  near  the  flare  knockout  drum, located near the  A4 station’s boundary with the BGP.  Nitrogen   will   be   supplied   by BGP through  flexible  hose  near  the  A4  station  fence as and when required.
Installing  a  flare  ignition  panel  (free-issued  by  QP/Barzan)  near  flare  knockout  drum  and provision of required electrical and instrument connections to facilitate its operation.
Provision to hookup the thermocouple signals connected to the flare ignition panel in the existing PLC/SCADA System.
Interfacing the instrumentation, hardwire I/Os and establish communications with the existing SCADA through an existing intermediate PLC.
