PROJECT DETAILS
Universal Pharmaceutical Industries (UPI) has proposed industrial unit only to produce formulation of medicinal products and not for active pharmaceutical ingredients or bulk drugs.
UPI management has retained the services of Qatar Design Consortium (QDC) to carry out the baseline environmental study and prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study report which would bring out the baseline environmental features of the project site, on which the likely impacts from the proposed industry would occur both during construction and operational stages. Identifying the type and extent of these impact will support in designing the required mitigation system in place as a part of planning stage activity at the proposed project in order to minimize the extent of impact and maintain healthier environmental conditions around the facility.
Also identifing the environmental issues and completing all necessary field monitoring, sample analysis of ambient air, water and soil to facilitate establish the baseline environmental quality along the proposed project site and surrounding the plot. And bring out a clear overview of the likely environmental issues, and address environmental issues associated with liquid waste and solid wastes arising from the proposed project and support the mitigation requirement to control pollution levels.
