Many areas on Halul Island have experienced settlement and land subsidence such as cracks, erosion pits, sinkholes and ground settlement due to mineral dissolution, or karst, of the Hormuz rocks. M/s Fugro recommendation is to introduce measures to control surface water, site drainage, erosion and subsurface impervious “low permeability barriers". The objective of this CONTRACT is to carryout Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and related works for entire Halul Island for:
(a) Storm/ surface water drainage network
(b) Potable water network
(c) Irrigation water network
