Al- Qamra Holding Group (AQHG) has successfully carried out diverse assignments in areas like trading, transportation, contracting, learning Center, cleaning maintenance and real estate. As a part of its diversification, Al Qamra for Health & Medical Care Company is a subsidiary of Al-Qamra group which is now planning to establish healthcare devices manufacturing facility “Hope for Pharmaceutical Solutions and Blood Bags Factory” in new industrial area.  

The country’s health management operations is basically dependent and centered around imported medicines of all nature from close by neighboring countries as well European, North American, Asian and African countries among others. It is thus observed that with the present proposal on being approved would initiate a new era in manufacture of medicinal formulations inside Qatar.

The proposed facility is planned for the production of healthcare devices products such as Intravenous Solution Bags, Blood Transfusion Bags, Hemodialysis Solution, and Water for injection vials. The facility would be facilitated with latest technological machineries available in the market.

The project scope comprises of carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment for this facility. AQHG had approached Qatar Design Consortium to carry out the scope of work (SoW) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study and to prepare the report submitted to the MME and to obtain Environmental Approval from MME.A structured and detailed survey including walk over survey, sampling analysis were performed which includes critical environmental components like ambient air quality, ground water, soil and noise within study area.
